Acquisitions Surveyor
Our client is one of the world's leading independent wind farm developers employing over 1000 people worldwide. Since its formation in the early 1980's, They have played a central role in the development of the wind energy market in the UK and, more recently, has achieved significant success in international markets. They have developed and constructed over 5GW of wind power capacity and has an expanding portfolio of projects at various stages of development around the world.
Our client is currently looking to recruit an Acquisitions Surveyor to join the Development team, in order to negotiate and secure land rights for onshore wind farm sites primarily in Ireland.
Role Responsibilities:
* Assisting is site finding for new renewable energy developments primarily in NI & ROI with the possibility of further responsibility in GB
* Negotiating and concluding appropriate property rights for the company's developments.
* Provide property advice to the company's project development managers and regional managers.
* Liaise with and provide instructions to internal and external solicitors and agents.
* Ensuring internal approvals are obtained for all property documents.
Person Specification:
* Degree in Estates management or equivalent essential.
* Desirable to be a Chartered Surveyor - general practice or rural.
* Experience in property acquisition & development and/or Landlord & Tenant negotiations in NI and/or ROI.
* Familiarity with property law and documentation.
* Clean UK driving license.
* Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Flexibility to travel throughout the UK & Ireland.
* Enthusiastic and able to work unsupervised.
* Excellent communication skills.
